Welcome to the web home of The Rivergods, an original roots/folk/alt.country/ whatever outfit hailing from southern New England, known for their stellar songwriting, spot-on harmonies and moving live performances. The Rivergods have enjoyed 20 years together as a band, and have been profiled/reviewed in No Depression, Blurt Online, Connecticut Magazine, Soundwaves, Boston Soundcheck and more. In 2017, the Rivergods released State of the Union, a new 12-song album. No Depression says ”the most fun part of listening to State of the Union is the Rivergods’ themselves… [their] confidence brims over on each song. They’re not cocky, nor are they too comfortable … they just know each other’s tricks and are having a grand old time doing a good thing.” Listen for yourself and download State of the Union at iTunes. The band's entire back catalog is available online at Bandcamp. Look around, have a listen, get in touch, and by all means, come to a show. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for stopping by! –The Rivergods
