The Rivergods at Sailfest – Saturday, July 9

Hey y’all-

The Rivergods will be back at Sailfest this year Saturday, July 9 from 4-5 p.m., just in time to grab a sausage-and-peppers and a cold one before the big fireworks show.  There’s a lot of great talent around town throughout the day… Black Marmot, Sue Menhart, Above/Below, Raise the Rent, John Fries and the Heat, the Reducers and more… so come early and bring your sun block.  Check out http://sailfest.org for all the details.  See you there!

One big gig down, and one new (smaller) one added!

Alright!  We happily rocked the park at Summer Pops 2011 yesterday… it was quite a day/night, and a real treat for us.  A big deal to Rhode Islanders – a 31-year tradition that we were glad to get to be a part of.  The sun came out, the crowds came to their pre-positioned blankets (see sound check shot, above center), and the balloons were soon flyin’ and the canons a boomin’.  A big thanks to everyone who came out to support us!

Also, THIS JUST IN – The Rivergods return to a more regular-sized venue for us (!), and a great listening room for music, Sneekers in Groton, CT, Wednesday, June 29 for three sets of hump day madness! We’ll be back ‘under the moose’ doing some old songs, new songs, red songs, blue songs… maybe a little more or less stripped down… we’ll see. Hope you can join us… great food (mmm… wicked chicken), wonderful people, and as always, no cover as!  Full info below:
